Does anyone find it hard to post on forums?

Used to. Only sometimes now. Occasionally half way through I will stop and back out. *rereads it then thinks does this make sense; is the spelling etc correct; adds something; moves something; then...*

Not as much as a should. Chatting and PM'ing are much more difficult for me, visitor messages aren't the easiest thing either. My strategy has been post a lot so the screw ups are quickly covered up and forgotten. A lot of times when I make a thread or post/send a VM/PM I immediately regret it and over think how it is being taken by everyone else.

I find it hard. I don't have a lot to contribute to this site anyway. Everyone seems to be far more intelligent than myself on here.

So i just stick to posting meaningless crap like this, until someone finds me an overnight cure.

If there is anything good about that chatbox up there, it is that it gives you all the time in the world to think of what to say. lol.

I never really thought about it, I do go to comment on threads a lot but then back out and think no I shouldnt say anything. I think I often post a comment cause I want someone to comment on what I have to say and when no one does then I think its a waste to post. But now that I said that I think its pretty ridiculous of me and now I think I should post more often.

hehe I find it easy to post on the forums.. :)

a lot depends on the forum too.. some just have a 'good atmosphere' and some perhaps less so.. and it depends on the people there... I really like it how we can talk about almost everything here and people are very understanding...

sometimes it's difficult to post/write about certain things though, it depends.. some stuff is easier to write than some things that seem more relevant/important at the time... sometimes it helps me to read old threads and see what other people have written about something already..

I was also really uncomfortable at my first forum and thought other people were much bigger experts etc.
I now think everyone has a different perspective and something valuable to add..

I have a lot of trouble with chat windows.... Because they can see how long I take to type this out, and can tell when I spend minutes typing one sentence, and then decide not to say anything at all.

I used to be SO nervous about forums but this forum actually helped me to get over it. It's still hard for me to post on any other forum.

Would anybody like to chat with me on the little chat V down there? I have a lot of trouble with that, I should probably get over that.

It depends. On this site and another SA site I sometimes go on, I'll obsess over whether I sound dumb, and I often delete posts before actually sending them, but I don't really get nervous since I know other people here are going through the same thing. On this other forum I go on, though, everyone is really blunt and there are numerous a-holes, so I have a lot more trouble there.

Sometimes, I do.. But that's because I'm used to places like YouTube where you have to watch what you say. This place is so warm and kind, that I don't care about making a fool of myself most of the time. :3

And trust me, I make a fool of myself a lot. ;3

Never really thought about it before, but yes I find it incredibly difficult.

Might have something to do with the need to over analyze everything I write, say and do.

So, I'm just going to write this as quickly as I can and post it before I re-read it and decide I sound stupid and/or pathetic and delete it... ::eek::
