Feeling depressed and lonely at Christmas Eve

Does anyone else feel lonely and depressed at Christmas Eve, and especially after when listening to some Christmas music (not just the classic ones)?

I feel lonely and depressed somewhat cause I don't have a lover to spend it with.

Thxs glad at least someone knows how I feel.

I am generally pretty upbeat about life but sometimes when I'm sitting alone and thinking about things I can get pretty sad... it sucks pretty bad when you realize that there is nobody out there who cares about you or is thinking about you (not counting friends or family, it just isn't the same thing).

So I understand completely where you're coming from.

I've always hated Christmas period. I may not be alone for Christmas but that doesn't change the fact that it's going to be miserable for me. At this point, I'd rather be alone. I'd be so much happier with no one to bitch or complain. I'd just sleep, and watch prison documentaries for the next couple of days.

really ....:D want a plane ticket to fly over here , hey we could watch whatever you like :) the tv remote is yours ::p:

Yes I do get very lonely it does make me very sad. But sometimes I feel it's my own fault I'm lonely, even though I really don't want to be.

Say that after you've been fighting with your lover for the last couple of weeks. Please, sometimes relationships are overrated. There is a lot of bad that comes with the good.

Yeah I know I've been in a gf/bf relationship before so I know what you mean. But hey every relationship has it's problems and I know you're sick of it. But I reckon there's a point in time you know that the relationship is not gonna work out and it's time to move on. I knew back then when it was time for me and my lover to seperate.

lol that's true, it is overrated when i think about it now, but hey it's better than being lonely.

Yeah ofcourse there's gonna be good and bad, but that's how "any" relationship is. But surviving through that is what will make the relationship stronger I believe.

I'd probably feel worse if I did have anything to do. I don't have any parties or family functions to attend. If I knew a Christmas party or whatever was coming up I'd feel alot worse. I'm just going to spend the day at home with my family which I don't mind at all.

Parties and large gatherings in general make me anxious. For the most part I don't like going to them. So knowing one was coming up would only add to the anxiety.

I sees, I feel the same way as you do too sometimes :( Well depending on the party and if I know anyone there.

Sometimes I'm the lonely guy there where no one really talks to me. It's makes me depressed and sad.

So I know where you're coming from.
