The cars I have "owned" were too old to be cool but too new to be cool.
Sometimes I borrow my brother's cars which are more showy.

i got my driving licence but i give up driving totally long ago
i like bicycle coz on it i feel powerful, almost compltely SA Free, because i can always pretend that "i m in a hurry" and by crafty riding avoid anybody that i dont like to see.
i also have a licence to run a boat, and have 5m "yacht"

Yeah, having a car is cool. I like cars, and I've started to like cars exponentially more since I started owning one 5 years ago.
Aside from using it to go to work and school, I use it to escape the daily routine.
I don't know what I'd do without my car. Shouldn't be that hard to own a car if you're of driving age. You can get a decent car for about 3k. Just make sure you do your homework on cars and car maintenance before you buy your first car.
Shouldn't be hard to learn either, if you get the right teacher.

Apparently, it's too "expensive", or whatever so I can't have one. It's just annoying because I actually tried to get one, only to be told later that I can't do it. I guess I'll just have to wait until I'm 18 to get it on my own. I want a vw bus!!!!!! I know they're old and hard to drive, but I still want one.

You got your permit at 15! You have to be 17 here in the Uk.
It is expensive. After passing you have the cost of running a car to think about; Insurance, fuel, tax, parts, maintenance.
I love the VW camper vans, they are cool. You need a surf board to carry on it though

I know how to drive, but never got round to taking the test. I don't think I want a car, I mean, it'd be nice to be able to get to places whenever you want, but its so expensive, pollutes stuff, and I know I'd probably crash it.
Even less of a need to get a car because I'll hopefully be moving to London soon and there's no point in having one there.

I learned to drive at 20, and tbh it changed my life quite a bit. I go out driving a lot because I find it relaxing, and I get to see people (if I decide to drive through a town) without having to interact.
My car takes up most of my money though, which is the only downside...

Really? I'm terrified of riding a bicycle. Better to hide in a car :
