Just curious. Has anyone been the object of desire? Did someone have a crush on you? If so, how did you handle it? :D

It sucks for me, when I start a semester ore a new school year I always have pretty hot girls try to talk to me and befriend me, but then I just end up not saying much back so they give up on me...THEN later on in the year I find out they had a huge crush on me at the beginning of the year!! AAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I always mess it up lol...

Once in high school a very homely girl asked me out in front of all my friends. Seriously why would anybody do this!? I was really shocked and I just said "uh... no". After 5 minutes of my friends laughing. Her friend comes over and asks "Why won't you go out with Pam?". I'm too nice to say "because she's hideous!" so I said "She doesn't need me". Her friend replies "Oh no, she really needs you". Not much was said after that. I don't like to think I'm shallow, but this girl didn't even try!

no ... i think my only friend have a crush on me ,she keeps singing musics about love ,and she asks me to kiss her ,but argh ,she is just not my type.

I can think of a couple times online if that counts... one undesired, one desired but obviously hopeless since her SA was even worse than mine.

Really the only time I was around people in person was in school, and since I wouldn't even say hello to anyone or sit with anyone, nobody was going to waste their breath asking me out.

I've had so many crushes myself, that I often have wondered "Isn't there anyone who has a crush on ME!?"

When I was in 9th grade there was a boy in my neighborhood who came to my door and asked if I wanted to go to the movies with him. I said no and totally freaked out and didn't know how to act. I was just all, "uhh... I can't... we're going away for the weekend... and leaving tonight." lol.

There is this girl at work, about 3 years older than me....She asked me out a couple of times, but every time I made up an excuse, I'm pretty sure she got the message I'm not interested.

She's probably the only girl, that I can think of, in my entire life who's shown any interest in me or who's asked me out. It's a damn shame I don't feel any attraction physically or personality wise.

I find her a little weird, funny that coming from as I'm sure some people at work feel that I'm weird...with my SA and all....

There was a boy that used to like me a lot, but he became rather obsessive and irritating...

And then he turned gay. Says a lot for me, doesn't it

There is a teller at my bank that smiles at me a lot and acts really flirty with me. I try to make conversation but it feels awkward and maybe inappropriate in that situation. Or am I just making excuses for myself. :? I am absolutely terrified to express interest in anybody.

Agreed

I always find myself making excuses when confronted with a potential crush or sign of interest. Recently a clerk at a spa initiated small talk with me. She was cute, and I picked up a good amount of interest. The only problem was without even thinking I found myself saying I had to leave.

In addition, I've had a crush on a girl I thought felt the same. For a few months we talked but me being me I never tried to make a move. Believe it or not I find out she ends up in a relationship, ON MY BIRTHDAY!!! This killed my confidence, I thought for once I had a shot at something that could potentially make me happy, ONLY TO HAVE SOME SORT OF DIVINE INTERVENTION SPIT IN MY FACE!!!

Yeah I'm pretty sure a girl had a crush on me but I never got the balls to talk to her... oh well I'll meet a girl I'm comfortable with some day. I feel more intimidated by some girls than others, probably because of their confidence levels. Anyone else feel the same way?
