Well, people have told me I'm good at writing, so I feel I'm probably wasting that by never doing any, but I really lack the motivation to write anything, mostly because when I read it back it all seems so crap.

I like to think I'll be a good friend as I'm loyal and never let people down, but I'm rubbish in all other aspects of friendships.

Same here. I usually write poetry and stories and whenever I read back on them I cringe at every sentence and wonder if there really is anything I'm good at.

We deserve what we earn, potential is worthless if you don't fullfill it.

Yes.
I have not earned anything - thus I deserve nothing.
I definitely don't think I deserve more.
I think that for me to even have shelter right now is probably more than I deserve.
There are people out there who don't have even that at least-- but have earned it and definitely deserve it more than I do.

This isn't the case always. Here in Norway, the labour market is extremely rigid. A BS in business administration, history or political science is worthless here, yet you still see uneducated morons leading work places. I'm not saying that uneducated people always are morons, but some of the people I've worked for during the summer, would have starved to death on the other side of the Norwegian-Russian border and would probably feed on roadkill in the US.

i could have been a really great pianist...but I quit. i could have been a really great ballet dancer...but I quit. i could have been a successful attorney...but I quit.

i can't finish anything..therefore I deserve nothing more than what i've got.

Its the same with me i can never finish what i start.I usually start one thing and quit as soon as it gets difficult.I can never stick to anything,so i guess i don't deserve anything in return.

i don't think it's the difficulty as much for me as I just lose focus of my goal and get lazy. I am not consistent enough to really excel at much of anything. know the term: jack of all trades? well...i'm a jill of all trades bc i've skipped from activity to activity due to inability to commit for the long haul.

scary enough..i'm married! lol an non-finisher in a lifetime commitment. interesting.

Anyway I seem to give up everything. When I was younger I did many hobbies such as ballet, diving and I was even doing karate.

Based on what few talents I have no I probably don't deserve more because I don't put much time or effort in. I too find it difficult to get the motivation to finish all the things I start.

But as a person, yes I think I do deserve more from life. Plenty of nastier, less deserving people seem to get more than I do. :(

No. I waste what I do have, I'd rather things go to other people who would put them to good use.
