I understand that, but to come up such comments that makes it point out the obvious is what most extroverts aren't realizing. It's okay if you'd feel surprised if a quiet person all of a sudden started talking, but when you state an obvious remark towards the manner, it'll make them go back into the state of position they were in previously. I find it to be pretty disrespectful instead of encouragement or praise that an introvert would speak up. Stating things like "wow, shut up over there you talk too much." could be considered a "joke" on the extrovert's part, but it can mean a lot more to others of how it's said or just in general what they said. At least if you have a surprising light hearted comment to say to someone, then say it in a politeful manner. That's all I'm saying.
