Why did this guy do this?

I'm new in this high school class! :)and theres this guy who i kinda like :) but i don't know him that well, he is alot more confident and he play fights with alot of the girls in the class..anyways so the whole class was around the table listening to the teacher and we were getting pens (colourful) and then when i'm not looking he puts abit of pen on the side of my face...i did feel it and it came off but why would he do that?

- He does play fight with alot of the girls in the class. :rolleyes:
- Was he being friendly. (in a joking way)
- He likes me.

I'm also sure i saw him look at me a few times.. ;)

Well I wouldn't put pen on a girl's face unless I liked her, but then I'm not known for being a romantic. :D

Well I wouldn't put too much hope in it, but then again, that's what girls do in high school isn't it? You said he play fights with other girls in his class, so why would this make you any special? But on the other hand you are new so he's more interested in you than other girls at this moment. It's up to you, but don't take it too seriously yet, and 'flirt' back.

I think the only thing left to do is to draw on his face. If it turns into a full out marker fight, you were meant to be.

Whether its just a friend thing or not, is another matter. Flirt back, be friendly, you never know what happens. =)

I can tell you this though...I get the same thoughts too of I get attention from other guys..Im 34 and still do not know if a guy is just being friendly or being flirty...unless they flat out tell me. :/

He's being flirty/playful, but the question is some people are just like that with everyone around them and some people focus it on someone. So it's hard to interpret unless you know which it is with him.

The best indicator I know of actual guy interest is if in a situation with numerous people he looks at you a significant amount more than he looks at any other person on multiple days/occasions.

Ditto. Unless told, I'm usually denser than uranium.

In high school a girl decided that my face needed a wipe with some ranch dressing. The best I could do? Return the favor with some cake at the end of the year. :cool:

As one can see, I've always been the knight-in-shining-armor type. :rolleyes:

Sounds like he's interested in you to me. There are some guys and girls who just flirt with everyone, but marking your face=pretty "serious".

I thought this was more of a guy thing. Women practically have to spell it out for us. I've heard women are way more intuitive with signals, etc. I'm intuitive, but lack of self-esteem prevents me from picking up signals directed at me.
