When I'm tired I have difficulty facing people

Like today I came home from a newyearsparty with a friend. But I immediately retreated to my room and taking a nap, not taking the time to greet my roommates and wishing them a happy newyear etc. I sometimes am so absolutely miserable/tired/fatigued that I just can't do it, and I feel really bad about it.

You don't have to force yourself to greet them when you don't feel like it. You can greet them the next time you see them.

Yeah you think too much what other people want... When you are tired, you are tired. Period.

Just tell them this: I bet when you don't greet them when you feel tired and you sleep when you need it, the next day you can greet them even better. :)

Yeah true.

It's just that I feel most people, even when they are tired, are able to suck it up and muster that little bit of extra energy and courage to be social and to show their faces and do all the obligated things. And that gives them a lot more goodwill points over people like me who would rather avoid people when they don't feel like it. I feel people in general have just stopped putting effort in being friendly to me because of this, they probably feel I'm not interested or boring and anti-social. Which I'm not (not always).
