What Would Be Your Dream Job?

A journalist, preferably writing about football (or soccer). I've got a degree, I can write fairly well, but the jobs are based in London where I live nowhere near. But more importantly, my weaknesses such as low self esteem, lack of confidence, lack of assertiveness really costs me. I always dream, if I had that then at least I'd be someway to achieving my goal.

Someone on here made a good post about using my social anxiety to write an article on for publishing so that's what I'm pursuing at the moment as I have loads of spare time!

I would like to create HomeTrees, it's like a big green area or farm with a couple giant trees but not too many else it's a forest, built home on the top or the middle of it (by home , I mean home, where you live all time but modern and green) with animals, beautifull garden , farming place, a beautifull green place for people to live modern and chill.

I know it's kind of sf or crazy . But that's my dream job.

Ps : I don't write fluently english , sorry if it's not understandable.

Game programmer and writer.

I actually know how to do both. Already created some minor games, and I really like writing. The problem is that my fulltime job robs me of all energy and time I could otherwise put into these projects.

This may sound like storybook fantasy, but I would like to live in a hut in the middle of a beautiful forest with some friends. Kind of like how Aurora lived with the 3 fairies in Sleeping Beauty. We could live off the land, gathering berries and growing food in our own little garden.

You guys can do this if you really put your mind to it and pursue it. No dream is ridiculous seriously. When I was thinking about my own path I was told to think up a dream job whether it was real or not. When asked this question I couldn't believe how hard it really was. I think people do not spend enough time really thinking about this, nor have the idea where to begin. But if you do spend time trying to figure it out it would be so helpful in your life. You will have something to shoot for. And, all it really takes is good planning and the desire to achieve it and not listening to criticism, even your own. It may be hard, but just keep dreaming about that goal. For me, I want to own a nice house, I want to build a big pond and have nice fish inside. I also want to have a huge garden. I want to create my own little ecosystem/jungle right at my own home. I dream about this all the time and it is what gives me the strength to get through all the bull****.

Any one where I don't get fired

The first one I started in 1998 as a graduate

Fireman

One in the USA, Australia, Canada, New Zealand

When huge effort is accepted, instead of the simple, pure luck of a lottery

When a parent is still alive. I was prompted by family to tell my Mum about a job I had, while staring into her dead eyes, with no response

Do you compose?

That would be an amazing job. Seems like a lot of pressure though.

I play piano, but my interest in writing music started when I joined a small club at school in which everone played a different instrument. We'd take turns over the weeks to write scores and parts for people to play, kinda like a mini orchestra. I guess it would be similar to that, only on a larger scale. It would be stressful yeah, it was bad enough with a small group xD

Actually, my ultimate job would involve fire, drowning... hostage situation, bad health... environmental hazards / disasters, anything else... when I get to reach out and say:

"Come With Me if You Want to Live!" :inlove:

Several things. I actually have big ambitions but I have had trouble carrying them out because of depression and laziness.

1. Be a succesful freelance animator and start a company, to make commercials etc. This is a real plan and it's the field I've studied in. Sadly I have lost a lot of motivation and discipline, but I'm working on getting it back and networking a bit more/creating a portfolio etc.
2. Screen writer/novelist. I really would like to give this a try.
3. Some sort of motivational coach. Helping people who've lost their direction in life to get goals and dreams again, to help them getting out of a cynical self destructive mindset and practical steps to help them.
