It's freaking COLD here! It hit freezing temps last night because there was ice on my car windshield this morning. Brrrrrr!!!!

No snow, no freezing rain, and I'm not sure that it rained all that much.
At 11pm, it is 11 degrees Fahrenheit with a wind chill of 0 degrees Fahrenheit. In other words, burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

OMG, I actually had to turn the windshield wipers on today! 
We're supposed to get a good dumping of rain over the next few days. Kind of a bummer, but we really need it (and it makes me want to fix tomato basil soup with grilled cheese sandwiches!).

usually it's way worse

Global warming? In this part of Australia we're going through the mildest summer in my living memory, with barely 2 days a week reaching above 30C. It's raining outside as I type this. Mildest summer ever.
Damn global cooling.
Mine loves it. But yes, it has been pretty mind this year so far. It's only really snowed once and there have been days were it has been anywhere from 40-60 degrees.
Maybe it's global warming in the northern hemisphere and cooling in the southern, 'cause I'm with coyote on this one. Although we do only live a couple of hours away from each other...

That's interesting indeed. Although didn't I hear about a huge snowstorm in Seattle? Also Melbourne is getting a good, hot summer. I guess we're just living in (un)fortunate areas where it's mild.

Well, the dogs are not happy campers right now because it's dumping buckets outside! Hopefully they'll be good little puppers and brave going pee in rain before bed! ::

It was actually a fairly nice day today. It hovered around 50 degrees, but it got pretty foggy and humid tonight.
