I refuse believe that the best years of my life were my teen years. Im thinking the only thing you cant hope to do in old age is maybe have wild acrobatic sex, but Im sure Coyote will argue that point too lol. You can still go out and do things other than work and pay bills (especially if you dont have kids). The only thing I can think of that I miss is being a kid and playing with action figures. Though I could technically still do that, I dont think its socially acceptable ::p:

I think that the best years of someone's life are usually the teenage years. I've read some people's stories in this site itself and a lot of people start enjoying life long after their teens :)

PS: Screw society, go and play with action figures! ::p:

I wasted a lot of time as a kid, watching TV, but in summertime, we were all outside, playing in the garden, in the trees, playing in mud, learning to ride bikes, and how to fight, sleeping outside in tents, for the sake of it, with activities always aborted by the call of "dinner's ready!"

No standard square-eyes attitude of today's gen, addicted to PlayStation.

Internet & Facebook is a new type of TV. Everything's based on the human senses of vision and listening to music. Playing with mates, falling over, feeling the hurt and fighting is much better than curled up at home. At least TV has different content of documentary stuff and reality - not just drama.

I had an important time as a student, living in groups, and no TV. That's the way to be.

I am predominantly wasting my entire life not employed, and that is beyond my control, as I do everything I can to seal myself a position, spending my 8am to 7pm of each workday searching & interviewing.

Companies decide who they want.

Every minute leads us closer to our grave.

Yes, I do. I could be doing so much more I say. Be productive. Useful. I can't even manage to have a good time a lot of the time. I want to see people, and I want to see life...not stay home and be online. I feel as dusty and useless as the dolls on my shelves. I am sick and tired of feeling sorry for myself though. I need to take responsibility for my own life. Do the things that mean something to me. Even if it means doing it alone for now. It sucks the majority of my 20s were spent this way, but I can also spend my 30s and 40s this way. My best years are yet to come.

Yea, I wasted a lot of time. If I had gotten my act 5 years ealier that I did, things could have been very different. The thing that angers me was my parents did nothing to help yet have the nerve to compare me to my cousins, other relatives. They fail to notice had I not on my own initiative got my act together I would still be the exact same person I was back then. Nothing.

I have a few thoughts in my mind, and believe soon the time will come to make changes to move on with my life, I'm doing it with or without their approval. For sure I am not going to win their support but it doesn't matter, its my life and I will live it the way I damn well please. It's their own loss they never cared to support their daughter.

Good for you! It's your life. Don't let others dictate how you should live it, no matter how well-intentioned their motives might be.

One day closer to death....

Yeah, definitely. I already feel like I have wasted so much time doing nothing, and I can't imagine how I will feel years from now. I have way too much time and I really need something to do with it, instead of actually looking for ways to waste time.

I hear it all the time.

Don't really care though... I'm not capable of doing alot of the things people tell me I should be doing. I'm just too sick.
I'd be lying to myself if I believed what they told me. hah

I've done a lot in my 27 years, and I still can't shake the feeling that all I am doing is finding ways to pass the time. I'm not sure if that's what you meant, but that is definitely how I feel about life right now. I don't much see the point in anything, but I still get out and do it because it keeps me from feeling depressed and worthless.
