Voice is too low

I have such a monotone voice that whenever I try to speak for an extended amount of time, I run out of breath/or I have to keep breathing to be able to get my words across. Do most people with monotone voices have this problem. Is it normal. I've noticed when I'm speaking like in English class for example reading something related from the passage of a book, I have to keep breathing or maybe even a slight yawn because of how low my voice sounds.

I have a deadpan monotone voice too and it gets raspy easily. I can sort of lose my voice in the middle of the conversation due to dryness and raspiness. I need to keep myself hydrated frequently.

Hmmm, I think it depends usually. Sometimes, I can feel myself tyring to catch for my breath, but when it comes out naturally when I speak to people, I don't really notice it. Maybe just when I am tasked to say something that requires me to put much effort into the extent of time my voice will be able to speak properly.

Could come down to the old thing of not thinking, just doing... one of the biggest barriers in sp.
You could practise reading outloud at home. Mentally visualise reading by yourself, then to your class. See if there is a difference between the two. If both times you are conscious of your voice, work through it. Sip water if you have to etc. most important thing is to remove external pressure and work through at your own pace

I speak really quietly too, even with people I know and am comfortable around, it's just the way I am. I don't think I've ever raised my voice above everyday conversation levels and I've certainly never shouted at anyone.

When people have to ask: Sorry, what did you say? Multiple times in a row...ugh...
