trying to find people with similar interests

any ideas on how to meet people? my interests mostly involve Muay Thai (Thai kickboxing), graphic novels, inventing things, video games, philosophy, cognitive science, and music any ideas would be helpful, I don't have a social pool (school/work) anything like that

You can try online forums. Then find someone who shares these interests living near you. Small chance, but possible.

Or just enlist yourself in some of the classes. Sign up for workshops... etc

Yes, online forums. There are a lot of forums about your interests where you can meet people. Maybe it would be just a virtual friendship at first but you can really befriend people after first meeting them in real life.

You have alot of interests, perhaps a class is a good way to learn more about your interests and meet people as well. I wish I had as many interests as you, but really, my only interests are reading and watching tv

Well there is deviantart.com you can share there artworks... its a big online community to make friends and buy or share various kind of art.
