"the world should be different"

I would like the world to be different, yeah. Should it be different? I don't know. Who am I to change the world the way I want it to be? No one. I can't change things for others just because I think it's the way things should be. I'm not a tyrant imposing my dreams upon others. I'd like to change some things, and if someone wants it too I'd be glad to help with the change. But for the moment I only know one person that wants an actual change, something little, and I'm completely unable to do it. Step by step.

Then make it. Some things you can't control - others you can - knowing the difference IS NOT easy!!! It seems like it should but it's clearly not lol. I'm so guilty thinking this way but I get no where... I CAN - control my reactions to things. My responses. More often than not. WE all are able. I just don't =D idk - I'm viewing this question not literally as the whole world... but my own reality of the world. My own little world of me and myself.

It's one of the phrases that people use when they're in denial or don't want to confront their own problems- akin to "I'm not the one with the problem, it's the rest of the world, therefore I shouldn't have to change." Very self-defeating.

Instead, people should be looking more at what they themselves can do to improve themselves and their situation given their circumstances, not just complaining that their circumstances are wrong and/or impossible to deal with. Change what you are able to change- and that is yourself and your own perceptions.

It doesn't. Well, that is if it isn't followed by a plausible plan of action that benefits more then just your own desires. The world is it's own identity that will change on it's own accord, regardless of what it's inhabbitants want.

As the planet, people should change and adept on their own accord, and not wait for conditions that surround them to change. And when tried, it's much more effective, and a whole lot easier.

I do believe in a better and just world. I don't think it's my image but what makes sense. Thinking doesn't solve anything but if your thoughts lead to actions for those changes, then yes, it will influence other thoughts and hopefully the actions of others. And that's why there are advocacy organizations b/c they see that something must be done.

"it should be the way i want it to be, instead of the way it really is"

how does this line of thinking solve anything?

your thoughts?

It should be the way God want it to be, and this is the way.

Disorders, drug abuse, and alcohol abuse become because some people doesn't accept reality.

It's the way you see life. If you see your life with fear of social situations, then you will be afraid of social situations. (You are a prisoner)

If you see your life without fear of social situations, you won't be afraid of social situations. (You are free)

Everything is in someone's mind. Face the world ;)
