The most Influential people

Can you remember the most important people you learned from?

The ones of the same age, or most influential in the family - aunts, uncles, younger - ignoring age - the people at school; the reason why someone guided you and made an impression, such as music you'd never have listened to if they didn't show you. ie. teachers or country leaders, inventors in your life? Inspirational? Entrepreneurs... umm... socially

I think of many of these, who I was lucky to meet, and benefit from

First of all, why am I in your sig with an angry face? ::(:

Anyway, my drumming teacher/friend is one. While he can be a pain in the butt sometimes, he is my best friend and he has given me confidence to do things I would never have. He's one of the only people that wants to hang out with me, too, so for social reasons he has gotten me out of the house where I would've just stayed inside.

Another is my school friend Scott for showing me heavy metal. :)

Yes!

I think pop set my favourites in the '80s while listening to the radio - Kylie, which is a bit embarrassing, and I discovered metal, after an important schoolfriend! As we were about to finish school, he also bought a set of turntables, which I now have. We discovered electronic house, techno & Drum & bass. Others all have decks, too. I still love metal and blending all this together.

The sad thing is that all those who like the same music are all behind. We've never met since. Others have marriage & kids, living in distant locations...

My twin sister; she's my ray of sunshine, she sees life through rose-tinted glasses and reminds me that everything is great and life is what you make of it. :)

My dad, for teaching me how to be very cheap and stringent with money. There are of course pros (i.e. save money!) and cons (i.e. people calling me cheap) to this.

My friend, for introducing me to the world of anime and fantasy.

My mom and bro, for teaching me how to be ultra-suspicious and distrustful of other people everywhere I go.
