If there are a lot of cars waiting for the light to turn green, I feel uncomfortable walking past them, because I know that pretty much ALL of them, particularly passengers, will be watching people walk by. I HATE that!! x_x

me too! i just end up looking at my ipod or something.

but its strange, some days are ok, others not. Some days i couldnt care less, and I actually want them to look at me:confused:

maybe its because i think i look good that day or something??

but yeh, 90% of the time I dread it....

for me its at work around a group of people, under pressure, stressed, lots of responsibility and for me its a heavy weight, some people can just be relaxed all the time ... causes me to be inwardly terrified ...

on the train i am very anxious. if you look forward then you have all these eyes peering in your direction, so you have to either look down or to the side which can be just a really strange experience in itself. just alot of people sitting there waiting to get somewhere in silence.

usually around authorative, arrogant, "show off", "know it all" socialite type people make me very nervous because often they are needy and attention seeking at the same time plus they have overwhelming confidence. hard to be around and makes me very anxious.

Agreed, at least when you know what to expect, you can rehearse what will happen and what you will do and say. Not knowing can twist you in knots @_@

The few hours before I go into work. When I have a morning shift, my anxiety hits the night before. I usually stay up abnormally late because I know that as soon as I wake up at seven, I will have to leave for work. When I have an evening shift, my anxiety is strongest during the morning and early afternoon. Thankfully, I only work part time, so I only go in a few days a week.

so do you actually feel better when you are at work?? does the anxiety go away?

cause i feel the same, but its not too bad once i get chatting to my colleagues, its actually quite fun at times.

eventho i feel this anxiety, it still beats staying home in front of the tv. i think then my anxiety and negative thoughts hit hard. ::(:

As long as I am kept busy, my anxiety is usually not too bad when I'm actually working.

It's funny. My coworkers actually make me more nervous than the customers I have to deal with.

yep its strange, same with me. i think its because:
1) you know them (colleagues), so they know when you are scared, happy, excited, angry etc.
2) you'll always see them. with customers you only have to deal with them for a few mins (im guessing) and you don't see them, so theres no time to get to know them.

To me most anxious time is when I'm in a party sitting all alone wishing to have enough strength to go up and start a conversation with someone while I can't.In such situations every minute passes like an hour and after the party I end up feeling depressed till the whole next week.Although sometimes I'm not like that ....wish I could find out why.
