I'd say I'm a nurturer by nature, I enjoy taking care of people, especially someone I'm in a relationship with. There is though the clear line of caring for and over caring for someone and the same goes for the other person. I love doing things for them, to make them happy because it's how I show I love them but do I want someone I have to essentially take care of all the time, no. I'm not their mother.

I'd prefer to have a partner who'd be a "best friend" to me: someone you can make fun of and laugh with yet confide in at the same time and do all sorts of sh*t together.
And as for the feeling safe part... I'd like to feel protected but I don't mind doing the "protecting" either.
