My cat's name does not start with a Q, so I'm going to have to deviate from the theme. But I'll be back in time for Z! And those lorikeets are beautiful! I assume they are a mix between a Lory and a Parakeet?
Quetzal (someone has a bad case of bed-head)
I wonder if there is any relation to Quetzalcoatl. I would think so.
ETA: Apparently, "quetzal" means "large brilliant tail feather" and Quetzalcoatl is a feathered serpent, so I guess the entomology matches.
