I seem to have an issue where I will be in a down state for 10 days in a row. Not really depressed, but very self conscious, signs of social anxiety and in turn avoident.
My brain works slow, I can barely speak and all my self consciousness stems from this.
Then out of nowhere I will go through a very productive state, where I can talk like a great salesmen, don't care what people think and am very productive. This is usually followed by a crash back into the other state.
My question is, I want to treat this, but I don't want to stay in the first state, is this possible?
2nd question. All pdocs I been to say SSRI's are the way to go. I've taken them in the past and over time my system developed sides that I just cannot deal with. Has anybody found any alternative?
