This may just be me, but lately I have found that I feel that I've reached or am reaching a 'saturation point' with all the technology - computers, tablets, smart phones, gadgets everywhere. Don't get me wrong, they are a part of MY life and of course here to stay - they are engrained in virtually every part of our daily life but it seems you can't go anyplace without this electronic, or that gadget, or video games (which YES I do like as well) .... but it sometimes feels stifling to me, if that makes sense.
Maybe it's one of those things you just need to step back from, unplug for a few hours or so, and just well, unplug our life for a little while. I find my phone lights up every time I get a text, response from Quipio, Pinterest and what not. And yes, I can go into the settings and silence them, or turn the reminders off, but for some reason, I don't, it's like a security blanket. Even if it annoys me, I would be lost without seeing that phone light up.
Guess all this can be addicting in its own way.
Does anyone else feel stifled, suffocated or feel like they are reaching some kind of saturation point in all this technology?
