Sometimes I read a thread and it appears as unread no matter how many times I open it, until I log out and in again.
And sometimes I see a thread as read even if I haven't.
This site is full of ghosts...

This thread continued from one where the OP deleted so it had to be started anew. So it already had a huge posting/post count, even greater than now.

It was a dark day for post counts everywhere. I've almost got them all back...not that I keep track of a silly thing like post count or anything
That combined with the deletion of the "last person to post wins" thread really gave a blow to my post count indeed. Don't think I'll ever get to 1000 posts again.
I'd really like to know who the hell won the latter though

No kidding. One day I come online and realize that I've reduced in age about 5 and a half months or so.
My dad keeps forgetting things and snapping too... He's older than your dad though, I guess..
A relative said there are some meds available that could maybe help in some cases, dad doesn't want to hear anything about seeing a doctor for this though.. Older men can be soo stubborn!!
Hope things turn out allright... for your dad and mine..

If your still worried about your dad in a few days or week time and he hasn't got better (hopefully he has by then) you could phone up doctor and see if the would do a home visit
