This is cool. New Order was one of my favourite bands when I was a teenager. I like this version too.

I used to have a Walkman when I was quite young, so I do remember them. Then discmans came out and I was hooked on that. Then iPods came out and that signalled the immediate and fast end to that.coyote said: ↑if i remember correctly, Eat to the Beat was the first album on cassette tape i bought for my first Walkman

Mine was probably Duran Duran.

Oh my. I never knew frente sang that song. That was a nice discovery 🙂

This is THE band that got me into heavy music. Maybe the band that got me into music of any kind!

Then someone showed me Slipknot, but that was too extreme for me 😛
Yeah, I found Slipknot to be too extreme for me when I first heard it, but now I don't find that. I have much more extreme music than that these days (even though I do throw on Slipknot from time to time).MrJones said: ↑lol mine too!

I used to listen to it, now I'm more into classic rock (though I listen to a lot of different music, but not so extreme now 😛)MikeyC said: ↑Yeah, I found Slipknot to be too extreme for me when I first heard it, but now I don't find that. Btw I think I stopped listening to Slipknot and such things when I stopped feeling hate for everyone and everything.
Slipknot - Wait And Bleed (Animated Version) - YouTube
I've felt the hate rise up in me
Kneel down and clear the stone of leaves
I wander out where you can't see
Inside my shell, I wait and bleed
I can't relate to their music anymore (gladly).

I actually like Slipknot more than Judas Priest. But that's maybe because I'm into music like this:
