I feel stupid with clever people

I feel geeky with rough people

I feel like a kid with mature people

I feel like I'm too mature and boring with imature people

I feel scruffy with trendy people

I feel too trendy with scruffy people

I just seem to always feel like the total oposite with whoever I'm with.

Where do I fit in?

Do I want to fit in?

Would I be less unique if I where "normal"?

Just thought I'de share that with you lol

Just gettin shit off my chest

carry on

LOL...I'm even older. I'll be the mummy here. I'm 33. I feel like the old one.

It's always good to see people our age so we're not the minority :D

I feel like that all the time, I always feel the opposite of the people I'm with, like I can't relate to anyone. Sometimes I feel so disconnected from everybody else, like I'm different from them :?

It's all down to how you perceive the situation. That list in the first post, I'm sure most of us can relate to. But, rather than see it as a failing, look upon it as a strength.

All of us are totally unique. Celebrate those differences. Don't seek to "fit in" with others...seek out others who fit in with you!

If I wanted to fit in I would have spent most of my life wearing a baseball cap and tracksuit bottoms listening to crap music whilst sharing a can of flat lager between my mates on a street corner. That's my idea of hell!

My retro fashions and eclectic tastes have always set me aside from the mainstream, but it's my passion and it's me. I will not change how I enjoy dressing or what I enjoy doing to fit in with others. The great thing about the internet, it brings you into contact with people who share your passions and ideals. There are people out there who like what you like and feel how you feel...they may not live on your street or even in your town, but they're there.

Seek and you shall find them!
