I've got to make a decision soon about whether or not to take part in something I'm not very enthusiastic about. I've searched a lot for stories about people not taking opportunities and regretting it, but I was curious as to whether or not any of you guys had any stories to the contrary. Are there any opportunities that you're glad you passed on?

Saying no to marriage at 17,18,19,and 20.
Wanted to wait until we were 25-- but he didn't make it that long, so I guess it wasn't meant to be.
Moving to Texas for work when I was 18 -- the place closed down 1 year later, so I wouldn't have been working there for very long after moving my entire life there and being so far away from my family.
