Hi everyone. I had somewhat recently graduated and have been looking for a job. It wasn't easy to find one so I took the first offer. (well second offer because the first one was probably a scam) Anyway i'm very ready to quit it after 6 months. I knew when I took the job it wasn't for me but I couldn't find any other jobs at the time. In the interview they said it would require 2 weeks of travel a year but I have to travel almost every month for a few nights to a week. It makes me feel physically sick. Some ppl in my life thought it was a great job out of college. Sure the pay is descent for a first job after college but it's not worth it day in and out. The advice i've been given is to wait until a year is up and start looking again. Would it be bad just to look now? The job I had before this i stayed for 4 years so i thought having a short stunt would be okay? Sure it wasn't great but at least I didn't have to travel and go on long all day constant meetings :/ It's also going to be awkward to say I quit... haven't figured out how to best to do that yet since it's a fairly small company but just wanted advice.
