Not necessarily in the street cuz I hardly notice people when I'm walking about, but I've felt that way before. You shouldn't think so negatively, though. How do you know that girl wouldn't look at you twice? You don't.

As a hopeless romantic (foolishly idealizing and waiting on the fairy tale to arrive), I believe in love at first sight. No greater feeling than when you lock eyes with a girl from across a crowded room (yeah, yeah, yeah, corny I know). Cue the violins.

I believe you can be infatuated at first sight, but love... no. Although perhaps it could depend on what definition of love you're thinking of. To me, to be in love you have to be attracted to more than just their physical appearance, and know more about them than what you can glean about their personality from the first impression.

How can you possibly be in love if you know nothing about someone except how they look? You certainly can't by my definition. You can have strong feelings, sure. But it ain't love.

If they lock eyes with you, the feeling could be mutual. This could possibly lead to love, but is more likely to lead either to sex or to nothing at all.

I've certainly been infatuated by looking at somebody, I think everybody can relate to that. I remember seeing somebody quite often, and the connection we had was unreal, that turned out to be a little more than infatuation.
