I lost my job of 7 years today. Damn credit crunch!

It's ok. Two of my mates got made redundant too. The workplace is getting rid of people every month.

The worst thing is that my social life pretty much consisted of me going to work, and now i'm going to be more lonely. I'm also going to ruin my routine of getting up early to go to work.

welcome to the club recluse ,just joking,I also have been sitting on my ass since February,getting me some insurance money, the good thing is you will get time to rest,learn new things,no more stress,good luck finding another job.

That's also my worst fear by losing the job.
After several years I feel very comfortable at work and the people.

Upto now I can be happy, they execute only a pay-cut.

Lack of work in the company due to the recession.

I'm trying to search for a job with no luck. This recession is killing me
