I normaly dont like much that isnt rap/hip hop, (although im starting to hate the commercial rap and wannabe gangsters that are so frequent these days :? )

But Linkin Park of one of the few exceptions, i really like the passion/iintesity of some of the tracks and can relate to the emotions and lyrics in there music.Got to agree with what has been said a couple of times already... some stuff is quite simlar and too repetative.

Please tell me there are no Nickelback fans in this place, Nickelback are horrid! as is most commercial music at the moment, the same r&b dribble singing about babes and cars. Bring back the days when Public Enemy, NWA and britpop made music exciting and challenging. Sonic Youth and the Pixies, Radiohead and the Clash, Suede and Blur. Thats great music right there.

And let's not forget Portishead from the same period! I still love trip hop even if all reviewers hate it now.

I like the Fort Minor album.Well it's good that Linkin Park going to get a new album out.Finally some new stuff coming out instead of remixing the same songs over and over.

yea i agree they do too many remixes. Like re-animation was all re-mixes and it was only thier 2nd album but hey im still a fan and i want to go see them in london on thier next tour. I saw thier performance in Phili for the LIVE8 concerts and that has convinced me that they are awesome and i need to see them live

Hey linkin park fans, good news is Mike Shinoda from linkin park has a new solo album out

his new band is called Fort Minor, its great!

But dont fear, its just a project he will return to linkin park some day!

hey not true, im a rap fan but i prefer the old-skool style rap, like NWA, Public Enemy, the Beastie Boys, rap groups that enjoyed talking about their social-environment as opposed to girls and cars
