inferiority complex

That's right I'm back!

Anyway I'd say the biggest thing holding me back from really being myself and joking around/ making small talk with people is this inferiority complex I have. I've had this for as long as I can remember. I feel inferior to EVERYBODY. Like they're somehow on a higher level than me so I'm not allowed to joke around with them

so two questions: 1. does anybody else have this? 2. does anyone have any tips for building confidence?

:)

You seem to be once on top of the world and other time down, and your self perception and sense of self worth fluctuates accordingly. Do you know why is that?

I just have been prescribed Zeldox (Geodon), which I read works perfectly for bipolar.

Yes, I do have an inferiority complex. It strikes when I am force to go outside to the places I dread where there are bound to be people, especially beautiful people, or even when watching television do I begin to feel it:confused:
I suppose having social anxiety makes it worse because one might feel less of a person for not being able to behave normally like other people who are able to socialize gracefully and easily. In my case, that might be why I have this complex.

No. I don't know how to get rid of it. I've had it for so long that its become a part of me.

I also have an inferiority complex. It's mainly because I feel that people look down on me, or if they knew me, they would. Everyone who knows me looks down on me. I feel I'm "less than" other people because of my inexperience & certain other reasons. But, despite having an inferiority complex, I also have a tendency to feel superior to people at times. I sometimes see people's behavior or just know what "type" of person they are &, though I shouldn't, I feel I'm better than them. It took me a long time to realize I felt superior to some people & I don't like it at all.

The only cure for inferiority complex is developing and trusting the resources within you to help you become more proficient in the area you want to be better at. This is hard to do, since most people have very little trust in themselves (me included). But there's literally no other way you can do it. You have to take that leap of faith.
