Maybe ask at MusesMuse or other musician/songwriter sites how legit it is? And what it's like?

Some on MusesMuse had success on Taxi (where you need to pay a membership fee and 'polished' songs do better they say) or American Songwriter (not sure if it's for non-americans too?) or such..

It might be good to copyright protect your songs first, if they aren't already? dunno..
