It is but here is the problem if they teach it they do not understand who we are and it really is only a group of us and it is all centered around anxiety

I am convinced that it is the fight that you have to win on your own. Sure, therapists, friends and family can help, but its all about you in the end of the day.

Just dont ever give up.

hmm, what have you done yet?

have you found some of the factors or causes for it and made some changes? eg with regard to negative thoughts/environment/nutrition/lifestyle/exercise...?

if you don't know what I'm talking about, you still have a lot to learn :)

are you on meds? some meds can be counter-productive or may have side-effects...
also, what kind of treatment is it? maybe another kind of treatment or a different counsellor/group/approach might be better?

((hugs)) it may seem terrible but maybe with a different approach things can get better!!

yeah gotta agree with the above comments need a positive attitude and its really down to you to manage it. With SA there's no magic cure its down to the individual to make the changes needed to live a more fruitful life...

Thats why your on the forum for a change of environment its all steps so keep FIGHTING!!!!!!! You made the first step by questioning yourself good now put that into action say I don't have SA I am the awesome person thats what you need to tell your self. I am still working on it for me, but I am a life long learner which means I will live forever.....hahahahaha!!!!

if you feel defeated - you proberly will be, where as if you keep trying to win - you might just do so...

It s classic SSRI treatment for a year and a half, i like being on my own but i cannot decide any more.Sometimes i felt i m cured, that s it but later it went wrong again.I said i like being alone, true but it s not about the anxiety it s about enjoyability.

It is who we are, and it changes in severity with what's going on.
But that doesnt mean it cant be better.
Dont lose hope because things can help, they may not fix it, but they can help.
And yes it is worth it.
