I have no Best Friend

I was talking on facebook earlier today and a guy asked a really random question saying "Have you got a best friend?"

It kinda made me think, because I haven't. I have no friends where I live and certainly no best friend :crying:

I just want to cry :crying:

Having a best friend implies that anyone else is second best, maybe it's better to think of them as close friends. This probably doesn't help much :/

Exactly! I think the term close friends is more accurate. We are free to have as many close friends as we want.

You can have online friends and 'best friends' too

When I was a teenager, my best friends were international penfriends, I could 'tell' them much more than my real friends in RL. We wrote long letters...

So, while it's nice to have friends iRL, consider that great friendships can develop online too!
