How many languages can you speak

English, Russian, and Ukrainian. I've forgotten essentially all of the Spanish taught in high school.

My native language is English, but I can speak and understand a little French.

English, Spanish, & French. I really want to master Japanese!

I only speak English fluently. I took Spanish classes for ten years so I read/understand it pretty well, but I'm nowhere near fluent.

Portuguese and English. I can speak a bit of spanish since it's close to portuguese. Had 3 years of French in middle school but I forgot everything. I'm learning Japanese right now, can't really speak it or make sentences but I can say some words and most of the time I can figure out the correct stroke order by looking at the kanji. I can understand some sentences but I can't make them.

Danish (mother language), English (close to fluent), German (fairly good) and Spanish (learning). I can also understand written Norwegian and Swedish.

I just know two languages spanish and english, I was learning a little bit of portuguese, ok I had a friend drom Brazil

Same here. Though, am also fluent in modern Scots - which sounds like gibberish. :bigsmile: Just a wee joke there.

:bigsmile: I've been in Scotland recently, my english is not bad (not my mother language though) but sometimes understand Scottish was so hard!

anyway, Italian (mother language) English, and I've to learn French, but I find it quite difficult...

Only Spanish and English, I wish I could speak English more fluently. 😛

Oh, and I want to learn French.

Portuguese,English,some Japanese and some Spanish,Japanese isn't at the level I want,so I am not comfortable to say I "can" speak .

I won't even count Spanish as I learnt in school and don't remember much xD

Recognizing kanji(compound words and writing)is so rewarding!
