Help would be appreciated

I want to hurt others and myself. I am miserable in every sense of the word and just have no hope that I won't end up lying in a hospital bed for the rest of my life. What should I do?

Why do you want to hurt others? Do you wish emotional, physical, or both kinds of hurt upon people?

Why not just take out your anger on lifting weights or eating comfort foods to calm you down?

I would suggest geting a bunch of plates and things you don't care about and smash them. Might get rid of some anger, but you should probably tell someone.

You should really talk to anyone you feel comfortable around. Maybe they can help you, or at least lead you to some sort of professional help.

Agreed. Have you sought out any sort of intervention yet? Moping around or bottling things inside are only likely to make things worse. For the longest time I would just stay at home and pity myself with an overly pessimistic view of life until I finally decided to get counseling to attack my problems. If starting this thread is the first effort in addressing this - it's a good start. At least acknowledging there is a problem and actively seeking help is great. From here on, if you're hesitant to confide in someone close to you, talk to a councilor who will offer advice and support but will keep your issues confidential. They should be able to suggest therapy, medication or the best proactive choice in helping you get better.

Hey Luna! What have you tried to do yet? What do you like doing?

There's lots of things you can do, either to just focus on something else or get knowledge and insight on your situation.. (or both)

For example, I like reading and films, so as distraction I just watch Japanese or Korean drama... Or I read books on communication, relationships, CBT, how-not-to-kill-your-boss and such... (Yes there are books on these topics and more!)

Even if you do end up in a bed, could you get internet connection or watch Japanese drama? (In that case, life still might be worth living?) Or could you escape with white linen from a window or bribe a friendly nurse? I've seen or heard about some really pretty sanatoriums (while visiting someone or online or on TV) so maybe it's a question on where you'd get too? (I've heard of some terrible experiences also.. It depends what happens there and who you get and how you communicate with them.. Some people also had fun..? Some people just learn new skills and get on better in their lives then..

Have you had previous bad experiences or heard about it, or is this something new and unknown, and thus scary? I can be scared of new things too..)
Most people do get sent home though (and sometimes this may actually be the more scary part-? Someone online wrote that there are people who actually *want* to keep coming back, even with false pretenses-??)

I hope this does not seem like taking it lightly, for me it's often helpful if I think of a 'worst case scenario' and ask myself: how could I react, what could I do in that case? How could I make it better or avoid some of the possible situations/problems?

Hope things get better!!
