Games - character gender, appearance and personality

Generally I play as a male character, but sometimes choose female as well. I also usually pick mages or mage equivalents as my class because I find they usually offer the most varied gameplay, and also for the fancy particle effects from spells/powers. When it comes to morality, I'm always either neutral or some saint from heaven. I always feel bad when I do something evil like blowing up Megaton in Fallout.

Yeah, despite the fact it's just a game I really struggle to be the bad guy! I often do a renegade play through but I chicken out so much!

I'm playing through New Vegas again and I plan to be a real shit this time. I always make my character look like me though, I have no imagination.

I want to see how closely your art resembles your face!

It's never even occurred to me to try and make my avatar look like myself, and I've only ever known one person so far who was really good at doing that.

I didn't say I was any good at it, both my Skyrim and Fallout characters just look like Zombies in blond wigs.

I used to try to make the character look like me but I always failed terribly, though I blame it on the lack of options.

I started playing it today but since I don't plan on playing through it a second time, I decided to create an evil character from the beginning. Not going to shoot everyone I see, but I'm going to try to be a selfish kind of guy, even if people see me as evil.

Male characters for me. Feel kinda strange going as a women. And my characters never look like me, they never seem to have my hairstyle :p

All my FallOut characters are evil. Even the good ones. :p

Problem is, I'm a theft-hound. I'll crack open every safe and steal every last cap/bullet in any container everywhere. Then I sell the ammo to a random wasteland vendor... and shoot him in the face to get it all back again.

<.<

What? I can't be the only one who does that.

If you're going to be a **** in New Vegas make sure you're male and join Caesar's legion lol

God I love that game. What I would give for fallout 4 :(

Usually male. If I can I try to make them look like me too because I like me. L0l.

Black hair, Black goatee. Blue eyes. Usually what I go for when making a character. Also if it's like an online mmo I make it like a caster or a melee dps.

I tend to make my characters the same gender as me (Female), but that's where the similarities end. I tend to make the characters attractive and blonde (sometimes looking quite Elvish) and usually they follow the good path (at least mostly). I tend to use a great sword as my main weapon wherever possible.

Whenever I want to do the evil path I tend to make the character male, but a pretty male. :giggle:

Sometimes though if I am playing the sims and Im basing it on me, I try and make the character resemble me if I was thin. I dont think I've ever actually made me as I am in any game.

I thought you couldn't join if you were a female courier, but maybe you can join but just can't participate in the arena? I can't remember now.

My very first play-through of New Vegas resulted in me slaughtering both the NCR and Legion.

The second one, though, I sided with the Legion, using a female courier... though I couldn't get through the final Dam segment because of crashing issues. :p

I think it was fixed in the GOTY-edition... but I never re-attempted it. Might have to try that again after depopulating FarCry 4's jungles.
