Easier to make friends with females?

Don't think so. I'm skeptic about whether a real man-woman friendship is possible (not a superficial one, I mean).

definately possible, only if the man and woman have no attraction to eachother what-so-ever. if one has any kind of attraction to the other, then the friendship will eventually fall appart.. or become really awkward. it's just too difficult for two people to be friends in those situations.

Well, not at all for me. I had one female friend when I was five (and of course didn't mind my friends gender) and that was it. No more female friends in 17 years.

The way I'm now, I seriously doubt I'll ever make any female friends IRL (not to mention a girlfriend) unless she starts the conversation.

I tend to get along with women far better than with men... Not sure why, maybe because I'm more of the "sensitive" type, and I can be funny at times and it seems women tend to like that.

It's really weird how I can talk for a couple of hours to the prettiest girl on my class (while being rather unatractive myself lol) without feeling awkward and yet I get scared by some other social situations that wouldn't affect a 12 year old.

I am the total opposite. Men tend to be direct/blunt about how they feel about me. With women, in my experience they tend to do a lot of internal judgement (even of their friends!) and it makes me feel inadequate.
But of the very few females that I am close with, they are all gorgeous and intelligent ladies. =)
