wooohoo idealization abound!

I really like your style. it's so unique!

I agree. Some of you seem really talented... and everyone is really creative. :D

I wish more people who post pics though. It doesn't take more than a few minutes in Microsoft Paint. lol.

But you've to upload to a file hosting site or something and then link it to the site? At least that's how I understand it.

Wow! That's great Dronee!

Hey, thanks for the vote of confidence. I only got the courage to really try art after listening Bob Ross sometime last December or so due to a random conversation turned into "You know... Bob Ross has a nice pleasant voice... I could nod off listening to him talking" (something like that)

Then I saw a video of him doing his paintings... He said, "That's the secret to doing anything really... Anything you believe strongly enough, you can do it. Anything at all. Just believe."

"There is tremendous freedom on the canvas. You can paint anything your heart desires."

"This is your world. You decide how things should be..."

"We don't make mistakes, just have happy accidents."

Very encouraging... Lol... sorry for ranting. But just thought I'd share this.

Whoa! More than one compliment... No, really, I'm just a beginner. We have plenty of brilliant artists here who are experienced. But if you guys are interested, you can try http://www.artweaver.de/ ... There's freeware and a commercial version. It's somewhere between MS paint and Photoshop. You can do a lot of quick fun stuff with it that you can't do in paint! Enjoy!

(It's actually quite easy to work with once you get the hang of it. You can put a couple of colours out, smear it around, tweak opacity, jitter and other controls a bit... and hey presto! You got a nice mix of colors. I did the piece using my off (left) hand, a mouse and my laptop... so you might be pleasantly surprised at what you can do!)
