Well~ there's no rule that says once you leave highschool- you have to keep all the same friends.
Most people stray away from people their 'own age' once they graduate and become adults.
I do have one friend from highschool whom I'm still friends with.
And my other friend is 8 years older than me.
I did have many work friends all through school who were in their 30's/40's and rarely was I very close with anyone my own age.
Hang out with people whose company you enjoy~ seek out people with similar interests and have fun.

I also have one friend from high school I am good friends with and like weirdy I have a couple older people I talk to but age doesnt matter in friendship or love so dont limit it on age I enjoy the company of older people sometimes more than people my own age.

age isn't everything i just mean immature people really.... there's this guy i work with whos 50 and he addmitted being a player and will never change..well at least it's considered honesty... actually it was an overheard convo... i just don't like it when people just drink, talk about you know what, and don't talk about other things and only care about themselves...also people who fight, talk badly about ppl who they don't know well, cheat which really aggrivates me the most and all that... lots of people on here seem cool though just got to avoid someone who could let you down emotionally and ppl you can't depend on

I generally like hanging out with older people, but I hate my current colleagues who are older, but extremely nosy. I have to put up with questions on how I spend my weekends, if I am dating, blah blah blah. I can honestly say I have not met a worse bunch of older colleagues in my life. Just my luck really.
