Doctors Tomorrow :O ...

Hello.

I have a day off work tomorrow, for my theory driving test (3rd time lucky) haha... well i hope! I have never studied for these tests and i come out thinking, how the **** did i fail that! So I'm expecting nothing more than a fail tomorrow. £31 a pop aswell! Not exactly cheap is it! Haha..

Anyways, I've been thinking about going back to the doctors to hopefully get some form of medication to help me deal with my SA, and since i have a free day tomorrow, it would be the perfect time to do this.

The first and only time I've been to the doctor regarding my SA, my original family doctor had been replaced by a foreign doctor. I really don't think he understood what i was/am going through.

Basically, the advice he gave me was - Go to this website MoodGYM: Welcome - Read up on it, change your way of thinking and all should be good. I went in hope of being prescribed some drugs ::(:

Ok so 2 years have passed since i was at the doctors and I'm really nervous about going back. I hope its a different doctor, maybe i will request that i see a new one when i go down!

Just what do i say when I'm sat in that chair!!?? I basically told the doctor that i had SA. He said it was just depression

I NEED DRUGS GODDAMMIT!!

Wait, so you want to go to the doctor to get drugs and so that will fix all the anxiety like MAGIC? Are you being serious or are you just trying to be funny?
 
You don't just need drugs. The drugs won't fix what's giving you the anxiety in the first place. Maybe medication would be useful, but that will stop the symptoms, not the reason you have SA.
I would very strongly recommend that you get some sort of therapy as well as the medication.

I recommend you to do some teas, and not take the pharma "drugs" or anything. The pharma drug is a billion dollar business and nothing more. It reduces the side effects without actually looking at the problem and origin. If they really cared they would have not go in a lab to make up this chemicals to give it to us. I realized that no one can help but yourself. Change your diet, start exercising if you don't, FORCE yourself to leave the house if you have to......go the library or something.

For anxiety........make chamomile tea!! You will feel better right away. Instead of sugar add some honey to it.

Agreed, drugs don't fix anxiety. Anxiety is a natural part of human survival, even if some of us are on the extreme level. Internally learning to cope and manage your own fears and feelings is the key, not some magic pill.
