I would love to be 'normal' one day but at the moment i just can't see it happening. Fingers crossed though, you never know what the future holds do you.

Only if things go right, and people stop criticising me. I can't see that happening really.

I can never be left alone by people.

Yes, because I cannot imagine living like this forever. I just can't, and I know God won't allow it. We're all going to get over this shit one day, we just gotta have faith!

i agree with what the young lady with the wicked eyes above me said. when im better i'll have a different outlook on life than wat i would have had if i never went through the journey of having social anxiety. i definatly do not want to live a 'normal' life. i'll do watever it takes to steer clear of a 9-5 job (those jobs scare me...i don't want to be a robot). way too many ppl live 'normal' lives because they don't know anything else but living a 'normal' life. (wow that doesnt really make sense. hope u understand.)

Yes! But only since taking medication. I basically suffered away my teens and early twenties with severe blushing and anxiety until I reached a point where I was so tired of feeling like everything was a huge emotional, stressful issue.... it was the hardest thing telling my doctor too and accepting to go on medication. But it was the best thing I ever did. I take 10mg of paroxetine (Paxil/Aropax). Because I had never taken medication other than benzo's occasionally for public speaking... I believe it worked a dream. Of course, there are side effects, but in the end you have to weigh up whether the benefits outweigh the cons. In my case it did. And now I have the life and confidence I always wanted.
