Do you think it's good that i make videos about SA?

Hey :)

Do you guys think it's actually good that I make Youtube videos about sa? :$
Because, an old classmate told me that she found it very strange and weird that i make videos about private things, about issues and problems, post them on the net. But at youtube people really appreciate my stories (people who deal with SA themselfes) but isn't this weird for the whole world outside who doesnt have to deal with sa? and that they see me talking about that?
And i'm afraid people will think i'm weird, or that i'm not worth it for a relationship, because I seem like i have lots of struggles.. omg never thought about that! (OCD...o_O) But still it's the truth about my life!

Well, just let me know what u think ..

My youtube is in my signature..

Hugs

(btw this is not making advisterment or something like that.. I just am worried)

Yes! dont hide the truth or be ashamed, those who watch will be the ones who will benefit. the more these things are made public the better for all:)

I love your videos! You're probably helping so many people. It really helps to actually SEE somebody talk about having social anxiety, it makes one feel a lot less alone and makes the disorder seem a lot more real and existing. If somebody thinks you are weird for sharing your life story? Ignore them! The truth is never anything to be ashamed of :]

Thank you very much!! That makes me happy to see that i can help people by doing that, but its me being afraid of judgement!! I think thats the reason why people mostly dont dare making videos!! (people with sa!) But i have took the courage, but still its hard!! because people CAN judge me al the time! xD

I haven't seen your videos yet flowergirlie (but I will :)). All I can say is, I've seen other people's Social Anxiety videos and one person's video almost completely changed my life... Just seeing an actual live person (even on screen) has a very deep impact on people, I think that's why seeing her video helped me so much :).

Keep posting videos! Don't care what "normal" people think :).

Allright,

I just checked out your videos :) - they're awesome! I especially like your last one about Social Phobia - how to overcome it :). I think you should make more of those, share the knowledge that you gain as your progress towards overcoming SA :).

You have such beautiful eyes btw :)

She's entitled to her own opinion as are we all. I personally would not do it, but I think that you are very brave, open and honest to make these videos and post them.

Hi Flowergirlie,

Although your classmate probably means well, I disagree with him/her. I think posting your feelings on youtube is completely fine, infact I'd encourage it if it helps you to express yourself and feel connected to others.

People, particularly the general public, need to be more aware of Anxiety Disorders, because there is a complete lack of understanding about them. People need to know that Anxiety Disorders exist and that they affect normal people like you and me, not nutcases, not weirdo's or any other assumption made. If we as sufferers shy away and don't tell the world about this disorder then it will remain misunderstood, forgotten about and not taken seriously, as sufferers like you and I continue to suffer in silence.

I say, bravo for putting up videos on youtube! Don't be afraid to talk about who you are. People open up about everything these days, so why should Anxiety issues be any different? Don't feel ashamed or embarassed for sharing your stories. Feel empowered.

God Bless

Yeah you're videos are great. And they aren't only about SA. I hope this doesn't sound weird but you have a really relaxing voice. :)
