Opposites attract! My hubby is the most non-shy person I know. He isn't obnoxiously loud and attention-seeking or anything, but he will talk to anyone and everyone and say whatever is on his mind. If he is curious about the smallest thing he'll ask questions until his mind has been satisfied, and he gets into the most random conversations with total strangers about the most bizarre things - like black holes, or how to make pudding, or WW2, waterfalls, how plastic is made - within like a minute of meeting them! No idea how he does it... It is hard to deal with sometimes because he'll start talking to a stranger and I will feel a little awkward...but I also admire him for the way he is. It does help me come out of my shell a little bit.
That's sweet! My partner is a bit like that as well, although he doesn't like to admit to it. I, think he just doesn't want me to feel like I am alone. He can socialize when he has to but doesn't really have any issues if we don't live the outgoing life style. He usually does the talking when we are around people, it does worry me a little as to what they think about me standing there quiet, but I have to learn not to care about those sorts of things.
Oh, I completely relate! My partner has actually pulled in a little, and isn't quite as talkative to strangers as he used to be because he knows I sometimes get really anxious about it (bless him:. I used to always think to myself that people would meet him and be so charmed by him, then look at me, all quiet and un-witty, and think "Why on earth is he with her?"
But I try not to think like that anymore. I know how outrageously amazing I am -::
Aw thanks::You should have that attitude, it’s fitting.
