Do animals help?

To an extent, yes. They're certainly great company and help cheer you up after a bad day. I still find there's a hole they've yet to fill, though... ._.

Oh they do help, immensely! I recently inquired a young Budgie, who I named Esme-Emmett (No his name has nothing to do with Twilight, Emse is short for Esmeralda) and the joy and love he has brought is amazing.

They do help alot, but remember they are not a sure solution.

I would have a pet of sorts if I didn't live in this student flat. I think it's not even allowed to have pets in your room here. It sucks.

I used to have a hamster, people made fun of me having one.:crying:

I wouldn't be here without my pug. Then I adopted the best cat I ever had from the shelter and my friends were worried I was taking on too much, but he makes me smile a lot and is great company. A bold cat lol. The friends are all glad I got him now. :)

Sometimes I wish I had a dog, but that's a lot of work, and I would feel bad that I will have to leave him alone for 9-10 hours a day.
Also, I just moved, and a lot of my furniture is new, so I don't want to risk him scratching it. So threre goes the idea to get a cat.

my kitty is such a sweetheart and she's good at brightening my mood.
she's a purrful cuddlebug, always happy to see me.
when i cry she'll give me worried/concerned looks (her face is expressive) and will stick by my side even more than usual. <3
