I've gone out to bars on my own. I only did it a few times though. I didn't really think much about it. Had I given it any thought, I would have probably been too scared to go.
I dont think females would have much of a problem. I mean they could but maybe their problems are different and not too applicable to males.
Males on the other hand would, especially with those who want to pick fights and act all 'macho' and shit. and feel 'obligated' to be the most dominant, alpha male prick douchebag there.
Why would anyone want to pick a fight with you? Has it happend to you often or do you think it will happen because you saw it in movies?
I'm not saying that some men don't pick fights, they do, but why would they want to pick a fight with you specifically? If you're not the alpha male type and you don't act confident, or otherwise in a dominant manner, you would not pose a risk or challenge to the sort of men who go out looking for fights.
I think you forget that there are hostile women out there and they do try to pick fights with other females and males. It doesn't happen often where I live, but females have other problems to contend with if they go out alone. When a woman is alone, she has to be extra vigilant of her sorroundings. A woman can't just walk into a bar alone and start drinking and not worry about her saftey. My friend and I got chased by a group of men late at night in the underground part of the train station and we were in a pair! Can you imagine the kind of risk a lone woman can run into by going out alone at night? I was lucky to have been able to call a taxi to drive me home on one occasion and the other occasion, I ran into my guy friend at the pub and he walked me home. I'm sure as hell never going out to a pub alone again. Well, unless it is in the daytime and I have a good book with me.
this sentence nearly killed me best quote of the yearI dont think females would have much of a problem. I mean they could but maybe their problems are different and not too applicable to males.

now thats an attitude of a 5 year old, with a doom and gloom sunglasses onYour mistake is going to clubs/bars, find something more cleaner/suitable. You dont wanna deal with drunks and all these immature competitive dumbasses.
.
You're having a laugh mate! Women in pubs/bars/clubs on their own are at a higher risk of being pestered and possiblly attacked by sex pests who think they are fair game.I dont think females would have much of a problem. I mean they could but maybe their problems are different
How is it?now thats an attitude of a 5 year old, with a doom and gloom sunglasses on

A few more months and I'll be able to go to bars and junk but I doubt I will go. I'm just dreading people asking me stuff like, "So what did you do for your 19th Bday? Did you and your friends go to the bar?" My response will be "No I don't really like to drink alcohol or go to those types of places." From that response I will get looks of disgust, people snickering at me and replies of "What's wrong with you?" this is then followed by them talking behind my back ugh....why me?
