Can a group of equal people all be leaders?

The leader will probably be the one that placates the best.

A true alpha male isn't about aggression but being a good salesman and allowing other people to think they helped make the decisions.

In a group of strong willed people, the social butterfly will discreetly take control.

So your answer is "no"?

Yes, each person can be assigned a different role and be a leader in that role. For example, you have the IT guy, the financial guy, the hr guy, and the operations guy. Each person is responsible for leading in his respective area.

Depends on how much they are driven by ego vs. sense of duty. Most politicians these days seem to be malignant narcissists; wholly driven by their peckers... i mean egos. :)

The question needs more context. Leader of what? How do you define equal? In what areas are you measuring equality?

A group of equal humans lead each other. There's no measuring of equality. The word Equal is literal in this question.

Yes and no... A leader is nothing without followers and how good is a leader who's unwilling to follow? Within a group, if more than one person leads, then there's more than one group(at least eventually)
