Anyone prefer rain?

I love thunderstorms too, but we don't get them here, so they're a treat every time i go to illinois !

After living in IL all my life, I hate the weather here. It's always so damn unpredictable, especially in Chicago. >.< I'd rather be somewhere where it's practically the same all year 'round.

Ah i visit Evanston every year during the summer, and its so nice falling asleep to booming thunder and pouring rain

I love them for the same reason you do; it makes social situations oh so much easier to avoid, and yeah, most people are inside.

I like the rain, but I don't prefer it.
Give me a nice hot sunny day anytime. You don't get enough of those in England.

I have a very strange fascination with the sound of rain, the smell of rain, and the sight of rain. It doesn't matter if I have to go out or not, as long as it rains, the heavier the better, I feel SO MUCH MORE ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The rain has always given me inspiration for my stories (I'm a writer). I find that I write 3 times more words on rainy days than on normal days, and that I get more ideas for my stories on rainy days.

The smell of rain gives me strength!
