I first went to the doctor because I had severe neck tension and schoulder and sometimes around my whole face and head even legs he send me to psychial therapy and mensendieck that didn't work, then he thought it was mental issue so the doctor sended me psyciatrist social worker which related my tension in my muscles and social anxiety in closed rooms where I feel im stuck to generalized anxiety disorder, he sended me to a psychiatrist which some how diagnosed with me anti-social personality disorder afhter I told only once had set something on fire for fun .... afhter that I was gone, so the next psychologist diagnosed me with generalized anxiety disorder and social phobia his threatment didn't work....few months afhter, I some how forgot 2 days taking my 2 anti-depressants and actually was getting worse and was stupid to try more days and suddenly got in a psychosis and was send to mental hospital for a month, so this psychiatrist the third one has come to a conclusion from subjective nonsense personality test im either shizoid, early fase shizophrenic or autism....-_-' which is riducilous which not ONE question ws related to either my muscle tension or little anxiety in closed rooms with people all the questions where like do you like going out ? Yes sure, do you like biology, programming etc. ? no.. ....... and then come up with 3 diagnosises which totally doens't describe me im normal again like having fun with my friends not wrong with me only my muscle tension and little bit anxiety looking people in the eyes and be in close rooms...so what only started from neck tension and anxiety ended up in 6 different diagnosis from al so called 3 specialists psychiatrists......AM IM WRONG to not belief this anymore ?

How is it possible to give 6 different diagnosis and all the subjective test doens't seem to be that reliable pseudoscience, how can you even measure mental disease if there is nothing to measure no degree of illness how is it then possible to fill in like and don'ts questions who ever made that **** up and somehow relate it to mental disorder which even doens't exist in the first place....ok my psychosis was clear as hell rest seems pseudoscience, my believe in psychiatry has been broken and better leave it...better looking for something good on the internet.

In the end, noone can look into your head. All people can do is trying to find out how you think and then find a term to describe it. Which is what you do without everything, I guess. But whenever anyone does that, it doesn't describe to 100% what is going on. No matter what the diagnosis is, and no matter if you think that it's right or not, it will always be just an approximation, since our brains are just too complex and unique to fit into such a crude grid.

I wouldn't dismiss the psychologists as pseudo-science and resort to self-diagnosis on the internet (probably the worst thing you can do).

Perhaps it's good if you take the different diagnoses to the professional you trust most and explain that you've gotten 6 different diagnosis and that you're confused. Perhaps they can then examine you more closely.

I think diagnosis is often a momentarily take depending on your mental state at that moment, and so like Flanscho said not entirely accurate and a lot of illnesses have overlapping symptoms, so perhaps it's good if your symptoms are looked at over a longer period of time. And even then it can't be entirely pinned down, but atleast you can then get a treatment that fits best.
