We've got 21% sales tax where I live. To make matters worse, that's in Euro's. :/

It's pretty silly.

It's almost cheaper to buy from the US or Japan if it wasn't for the shipping costs, and customs intercepts. Last time when I thought I had an overseas bargain, customs STILL had me pay the local taxes for it and it ended up costing a fortune.

I'm just glad to have been born in a place where I have access to clean drinking water, without roving rape gangs and what not. There are much worse places to be.
