  • Similar to your reason. My family got divorced and it wrecked me, so I wanted to become a divorce mediator so that I could save children from the pain and the ugly thoughts that the divorce instilled within me.
Cool:)! So what do you want to be after you graduate? I chose a divorce mediator as one of my dream job professions.
Oh, you're a college student too? This is my second year in college:D!

Yeah, one of my top 3 hobbies is anime:D! How'd you guess? My other hobbies include reading, working on the stories that I've created and playing video games.
I like to pretend there was, but there really isn't. When I was making an account for another site I didn't plan on using I just picked a 2-letter combination I thought sounded good together (It was fairly random). vj was already taken, so I choose the first suggested alternative, vj288. I ended up using the site a lot more than I thought and the name really grew on me so now I use it for everything :p.
As in I feel dead inside; I can't feel many emotions except anger, sadness, and embarrassment. My heart is like a giant void with nothing in existence inside it.
Yes I changed it back, and sorry I confused you! I hope you didn't have too hard a time ::p:
Thank you for that compliment. You seem like a nice person too!

Yeah, spiritually, I'm a "dead man walking". Where'd your name come from?
    hi
iam new to this site iam from india its is good to have such sites where people with similar thoughts can interact. iam 24.
hey sorry for the late reply (...again), have had copious amount of midterms and last minute cramming these past couple of days for an exam :/
when you say moderate, but you have exterme shyness, doesn't shyness stem from anxiety?? because i've been told i'm quiet and shy as hell, and i can safely say that would be because of my anxiety, but you probably have an easier time talking to people if it's not that bad for you. and as for the conservative thing on pakistani girls, it varies really, i've seen girls who are just like westernized ones, but act conservative and sharif when they're w/family, and i've seen entire paki families who are completely westernized, and on the other end of the spectrum, there's the overly religious where the females run for their rooms in terror or madly fix their hijab when the doorbell rings (i personally know a family that does this), it's quite hilarious...so i guess you can say it's a mix, hope it isn't like this for you though
yeah, that's how most parents are towards girls, and the girls try to get out of their parent's protective hold on them too, but i guess in your case they wouldn't have to worry about that would they lol on the other hand yeah i'm surprised they don't force you into anything, i'd imagine they'd push you into more social situations, like mnie try to do, hence my SA is up there, but not as extreme as most people. usually i like to keep to myself but if i NEED to talk to people, i'll do it, but again i'll be the quiet one only speaking ocassionally lol so i would say it's pretty severe, trying to break out of it though, but honestly i'm surprised for indian families at least in mine they look down on that stuff, nice to know not all indian families are like that, how's yours? start shaking uncontrollably when walking/driving to a social gathering?
Nice. I've seen many people on here that are doing psychology too! I am interested in that subject but I'd much rather take the route into medicine because it fascinates me very much.
Hey there. :D I'm okay, writing something and trying to be positive. What about you ? :D Did you talked with FriendlessGirl?
