  • Hi.Do you feel comfortable giving me your name.Mine is Ransford. Its interesting that you believe that you could stop yourself developing social anxiety. What things would you do to stop it developing? In my case my social phobia started of being a bad case of shyness that evolved into social phobia over time.I guess if traumatic experiences contributed to its development, then those can be avoided.I'm not sure how I could of stopped it developing.I would love to the devolpment of the human race from cave man to modern man. Also being able to see England over the centuries would be interesting. The Bronze age, etc.
Hi.As long as humans are as tribal as they are currently, then there will always be disputes, tension and conflict.Too many people separate themselves into groups based on nationality, religion, race, status. Attaching more value to some than others. . I like some sci fi and the concept of time travel is used a fair bit.If you could travel through time and space, which places in time would you visit?
Hi.Wow both your grandparents are well on there way to being 100.It sounds like the people in your family are long lived. In their time your grandparents have seen some changes. The rise of tv,computers, cars, the internet, games station.I wander what things would be like in another 90 years.Maybe all vehicles by then will not use fossil fuels and run on hydrogen or electricity.Homes could be totally computer controlled and a able to communicate with you.Think of the possible changes in the medical work to do with dealing with disease. What things do you hope will be possible in 90 or so years time
Hi.It sounds like you have some happy childhood memories. How far back can you remember. Some people claim to remember being in the womb. That's possible I guess. My earlies memories come from when I was around 9 or 10.I remember mum buying my brother and myself donuts as a treat. It sounds like you were close to your grandparents.I was close to my grandparents when I was younger. They helped to bring me up.
Hi.Yes.I suppose some parts of Kent are quite industrial and urban. Its interesting how people have views on a town or area even though they don't know it well or have never been there. The way I did about Kent. For example I live in Croydon and the area seems to have abit of a bad reputation amongst some people.I don't thing its a bad place to live. Obviously there are some violent idiots around who can give an area a bad name. Most people in the area are not like that though. There are some nice parks, shops, libraries, etc.Do you fine it difficult to use buses and trains due to anxiety?
On your profile it says you live in Kent. That's quite a green area.Have you done any travelling around Kent.I see Pheasants on the way to work sometimes. The male Pheasant is a very striking bird.
I sometimes volunteer for a nature group in Carshalton, that try to take care of some of the green spaces in the local area such as chalk grassland, etc. In my own small way I try to help nature in my area.My councelor suggested it over a year ago.Its also a good way to social more with people and get more excercise. It has really openned my eyes to the fact that there are a lot of beautiful nature spots, that lots of people probably don't know are even there. What are some of your favourite nature spots?
Hi.Actual what you said in regards to feeling like you would be betraying the animals makes sense.I imagine you would feel like you are eating a friend. The problem is that too many people believe that they own the soil, trees, animals, plants and there all here for their convience. That's not the case. I agree that animals have rights too.I don't think its a coincedence that some many people with social phobia are nature lovers.Animals, plants can be very calming plus it gives lots of people something to love that is less likely to hurt you.
Hi.It was nice to hear from you.So you have been a vegetation for a number of years then.Did you make the decision yourself or are your parents vegatarians? I do love plants as well as animals and I'm against animal cruelty. For about a year I have not eaten any fish or seafood. That was due to me going to a local Aquirium for the first time and being blown away by the beauty of the sealife there.Maybe in time I could go totally meat free, but it would probably be a gradual thing.
wow. your page could surely cause some to have blank-page nausea. (same goes for mine) anyway, thanks for posting those threads on romance and chivalry. they sure spark some fiery conversations! lol hehe...
Hi Im Ransford. It says on your profile that you are a vegetarian.Have you been one long and are you ever tempted.Im a nature lover and I have thought about going veggy a few times but Im not sure I could manage it.I have got back on the types of meat I eat though.
